  How To Do It

Patient’s contact with Tour Médico to specify the procedure they are interested in.

On the basis of the procedure chosen by a patient, Tour Médico will send a list of the necessary pre-surgical tests the patient needs to undergo. The patient will then send the relevant tests results and the photos of the areas subject to surgery to Tour Médico, so that doctors may evaluate:
A) The patient’s actual health condition.
B) The feasibility of the treatment.
C) A reasonably accurate estimate of the cost of the treatment.

Patient’s approval of the estimate and choice of time period or date to schedule the treatment:

A) The patient will specify the date they have chosen to schedule the treatment.
B) Any contingency will be dealt with before the advance payment is made.
C) The patient will specify their tourist and accommodation options. This will allow us to organize the patient’s trip in detail, while they approve the final estimate of the cost of the treatment they are interested in.

Organization of the trip:

Tour Médico will organize the patient’s trip in full, making reservations (airline, hotel, tour, etc.) and letting the patient know every detail of this process. The patient will confirm this by paying 30% of the total cost of the surgical procedure they will undergo, as well as the cost of the tourist package, so that the date of the procedure will be finally determined.

Payment of outstanding balance and delivery of travel documents:

Payment of the outstanding balance (70%) for all services rendered shall be made 15 days before the starting date of the trip. All relevant documents will be delivered to the patient’s address on the following days or on the date agreed upon.

During the patient’s stay in Buenos Aires:

The patient will not need to worry about anything, since a Tour Médico staff member will be in charge of:
• Driving the patient to the hotel.
• Assisting the patient at their preliminary interview with the doctors (who will explain the procedure in detail to the patient, after having considered their wishes and expectations).
• Assisting the patient during the pre- and post-operative office visits and in every medical aspect of their trip.
• Advising the patient on different tourist options.
